Downloading.

To download the demonstration version of Incubator, click the appropriate "Download Incubator Now" link near the bottom of the "Try" page.  That page can be reached by clicking on its tab at the top of this page.

The download process should begin automatically.  When the download is complete there will be a file on your desktop named "Incubator.dmg."  The file contains a disk image which can be mounted on your desktop just like a physical CD or zip disk.

In fact, your web browser may have automatically mounted this disk image and opened a new window on your desktop displaying its contents.

Installing.

If your web browser did not automatically mount the downloaded disk image, please double-click the downloaded file to mount it on your desktop.  A new window should open displaying the contents of the disk image.  If for some reason a new window does not appear, you may have to double-click the virtual disk drive icon to open it.

The new window on your desktop will contain three files: the application, a tutorial document and a copy of the licensing agreement.

Drag the Incubator application to your "Applications" folder.  Drag the tutorial document to your desktop.

At this point you may eject the disk image and delete its .dmg file.  You may then wish to double-click the tutorial document to start the evaluation process.

Activating.

Once you have spent enough time with Incubator, hopefully you will decide to purchase.  Purchasing is easy - just follow the steps on the "Buy" page.  You will then immediately be sent purchase confirmation via email containing your serial number.  The system is automated and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

To activate either Incubator, choose "Activate..." from the application menu.  Enter your registered name and company information along with your serial number and then press the "Activate" button while connected to the internet.  The activation process normally takes less than 10 seconds.
